1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Current State

The Sign In flow supports two user types:

• Saudi Citizens/Residents: Authenticate via Nafath (national digital identity)
• Other Users (GCC/Foreign): Authenticate via username/password

Key Problems Identified

🔴 Critical Issues:

1. Background carousel continues rotating during Nafath challenge (WCAG violation)
2. Three QR codes positioned too close together (scan confusion)
3. Silent failures on Nafath rejection/wrong number selection
4. Broken links (FAQ → 404, App Store → wrong destination)

🟡 High Priority Issues: 6. Visual overload in login card (too many competing elements) 7. Low contrast on language switcher (hard to read) 8. Confusing "Forgot Password" UX (toast message instead of redirect)

🟢 Medium Priority Issues: 9. Carousel timing too fast (5-7 seconds, should be 10-12) 10. "Other" tab label unclear (should be "Business Login" or "Standard Login") 11. Visual pattern density too high (distracting diagonal lines)
